Well it seems the SIN-PVG traffic is very light at the moment.
Friend was comming back recently and turned up at the airport with enough time and only hand luggauge that he go Op-Up'ed to J.
When asked why (he was just happy to have the upgrade and earlier flight) he was told that if they got him onto that flight they could cancel the next flight and combine it with the flight after !

Guess it could have been a late friday night for some people.

Just checked Singapore web site and appears all flights did fly... so i wonder why they would tell a customer such info if it was not true.

Loads are light, due to visa restrictions and although i have not been in the last couple of months i am told a lot of places like reastaurants and hotels are doing it tough, one we liked to go to even closed down !

Wouldn't the aircraft for the middle flight have already been on its way over by then? Perhaps they flew it back empty as a ferry....
