Hi All

Wondering if anyone happens to have first hand experience....

I am flying SQ and booked on group travel in G fare class.

Just wondering if that will earn status? I had a look on the website and it doesn't mention G at all.

Anyone out there know?

Cheers

Group travel on SQ is not valid for earn on Velocity – and I don’t even think it is valid for KrisFlyer

It depends on how the group was set up. G is the fare class for groups, and with SQ it can be either eligible or not, depending on what options were selected by the organiser. Essentially you have to pay more if you want the fare to be eligible for KrisFlyer points (to my knowledge no G fare will credit to VA). Have you got a copy of your ticket? It will say it in the Endorsements box - either FFP ACCRUABLE or NON-FFP ACCRUABLE.

Boo. Sending to KrisFlyer was plan B there.

Thanks!

By default, no KrisFlyer miles will be earned for tickets booked in G booking class on Singapore Airlines and SilkAir. If any Singapore Airlines and/or SilkAir itinerary has any sectors that are booked in these booking classes, those flight sectors on Singapore Airlines and/or SilkAir will be deemed ineligible for mileage accrual.
