According to MilesLion there is now functionality on the SQ website that allows entering different loyalty memberships for points accrual whilst entering KF membership number for status recognition (if applicable) and free on board wifi. A plus if it works correctly, but unfortunately can’t enter an alternative programs for status recognition (so no recognising VA status whilst accruing miles to SQ, that would still need to be done at a counter during checkin).

I posted in the tips thread that I had real difficulty changing my SQ to Velocity. Kept getting blocked at the OTP stage which never came and there was nowhere to enter it even if I did arrive.

If it was an award flight, they don’t let you change online - only allows KF numbers. They can change it at checkin.

Site doesn't work for me. I would always do it at checkin. or lounge. or at the gate. Straightforward in SIN. Challenging at outstations like PER, MEL, BNE, BKK, etc etc

I would ask for this:
* Use my PPS number for service (and enter it in the FQTS field)
* Use my VA number for accrual of points (and enter in the FQTV field)

My boarding pass would then say this if done right.
Code:
VA QPPS 3042014839

I haven't tried this yet, but it would be nice to be able to get the free WiFi on flights without sending the points to KrisFlyer.

However, if I understand correctly, if I put a KrisFlyer number with no status into this new field and then put my Asiana number with *G into the accrual field, then only the KrisFlyer number will be looked at for the purposes of status and my Asiana number won't be used for anything besides depositing the points. I'll get the free WiFi but no status recognition.

Is that right? Or have I got completely the wrong idea about how this works?
