Got CX for $2850 PE MEL To MAN UK, in Sept. Not interested in SQ as does not fly out of MEL, and I hate LHR with a passion.

Those lead-ins look pricey considering just under $3000 gets you return mixed class to London/Paris/Frankfurt/Rome these days (economy to Singapore, business to Europe). SQ PE might save you a few hours, but not sure it's gonna give you the same ability to sleep.

Even QF has PE to HKG for $1399 return and it's a direct flight too.

Way too high. I was expecting ~$1200-$1300 when I saw the email header.

I can't seem to find this fare < $3000. Where are you booking this?

For that price you'll need to construct it yourself... your choice of Qantas, Singapore airlines, jetstar or scoot to Singapore, connecting with your choice of Vietnam airlines or Sri Lankan from Singapore to Europe (note vietnam airlines flights to Paris don't offer full flat beds in business... only their a350/787 services to London/Frankfurt have those).

for slightly more money (around $3400-3600) on line agents will sell you mixed class tickets... with SQ to SIN, connecting to either Sri Lankan or SWISS business onwards to Europe.

Ah. Sorry. I thought you meant SQ mixed fare out of Australia. Thanks!
