The screws are being tightened on Changi $ eligibility also - as many would be aware previously if you booked 2 x o/w rdpts you could claim the SD40 vouchers on each leg - now not always.
Rules were changed on April 1 that if you booked return flt to your home country before dep from home country then that would render you ineligible to receive SD40 voucher on both legs - you are eligible to receive Changi $ vouchers once only.
Today was the first time I had been pulled up and denied the vouchers - I do not know extent of info that agents can see on screen but clearly they can identify your movements. My return flt yesterday was confirmed prior to my dep from MEL on Dec 12 - as late as 12hrs pre my ret from PVG I almost changed flts to new Saver rdpt on 831/227 - but just decided against it because 833 gave me another R sector - had I done so the new booking made post my original dep would have qualified for receipt Changi $ vouchers.
As I said first time I have been pulled up - as late as 3 weeks ago I collected vouchers both ways - others may also collect both ways but if you are denied on your return journey you will know why.
