Credit Card Offers St.George Amplify Signature: 150,000 bonus Amplify Points (expires 30/4/25)

I don’t ask what my son’s girlfriend earns but I think it would be low $30 an hour as she transitions to a bigger career.. She is doing fantastic with her Amplify stash so don’t be put off by that $75,000 figure unless you have many credit cards or big After Pay instalments.
If your income is lower don’t ask for a huge credit limit......$15,000 should be ok.

I have a cobber who wants to climb aboard the FF pts cultivation train so was wondering if this deal is still alive? Is this best offer out there for max Amplify pts?

Hi everyone,

Out of curiosity, what is the process involved in upgrading a Platinum card to a Signature card ?
I have just obtained the Platinum Amplify card, and plan to upgrade to the Signature Amplify card
in probably 2 years time. (I always pay off my bills in full and on time. )

Do you have to submit any documents etc or is the process is pretty straighforward ? (Just fill out a form online or getting it done over the phone or bank branch ? )

Thank you.

My annual review is approaching......
1. Are the "points" credited in the account before paying the bill? (therefore points wont be left in account from last statement?)
2. I can claim the priority passes now and use even with the account closed?
3. Seems they mark down points on conversion ie. 15 points become 7 points :(
4. Any other tips to be aware of before closing date?

2. PP is only valid while you hold an active amplify CC

I'm sure I was told earlier that it did not have to have the card open to have the PP, as the PP are valid a year?

Where is this link for PP access?

Had no issues using St George Credit Card complimentary PP after the Credit Card was cancelled..So you should be good.

if you take a guest in + yourself it auto charges it to your linked CC, in this case the amplify card. if the card is cancelled that charge will bounce. not sure what happens then.

guess if you only use the free entries x2 then you should/would be okay

Yep Had to create a new Username for the new account as already have PP with another CC..........
Digital pass available immediately which is a +ve!

So Has anyone tried to use while St George CC card not active......immediate decline at gate?......then use a different PP card linked to another CC account if required?

So I transferred points today......it says 3 days to transfer......
Do points need to be transferred before CC account is closed?

Meet offer requirement under which you applied for your Platinum, receive offer points, cancel card. Sit out 12 months exclusion period (or whatever period StGeorge might have at time of your next application). Hunt down a decent offer on Signature and apply as a new cardholder.

You will most likely have to go through a new credit assessment and incur another credit enquiry, but you will not get any extra points for switching as a current customer.

Just received my 4th statement. No bonus points awarded. Anyone else not get their points within the stated time frame?
Not getting anywhere with this. St George wont even respond to me.

looks like this is headed to FOS.

yes i got my points within or just over the timeframe, applied in Jan '19
I didn't have to chase up or call etc, appered automatically on the statement

Have much to put on these cards this month. Two of the cards I use belong to travellers who are going NZ, UK,US then AUS over the next 4 weeks so I won’t load their cards.
