I preload and then pay usually. With WA land tax there was a $100,000 payment limit so I had to pay that one more than once. With other payments just load up every couple of minutes. Westpac to St George you have to wait at least a day for the funds to arrive.
Some newer members have smaller BPay limits than $100,000 a time.

Anyone receive their bonus points yet? I signed up with it was the 120k QF bonus for a $179 annual fee. I got the card 20 August, hit the minimum spend by 30 September. Just had the second statement issued. I suspect the points won't be paid out until the third statement, or something naff like that

Not me.

St George have a history of making people wait for the full period.

i'm 99.99% sure the answer is "no", however is there a way to transfer amplify points from 1 member to another?
would prefer to keep them as amplify before transferring

I know my brother tried doing this but it failed for him after about a week.
In our family all but one of us has this card so that extends our opportunities to spread our Miles earn into multiple hands to widen our redemption nominees.

Nominee limit.. Precisely my problem

We share some of our bills around so it should be that no family member is short of points in their accounts to do redemptions for their group of nominees.

So do I but my bills aren't as massive as yours so it takes time to restock :p

I would be lost if we were to get out of our business. I wish the BPay into St George was higher than $100,000 a time.

Hope you can assist me here...

Those with St George Amplify Signature card, could you please share your experience regarding the timing of the birthday bonus. T&Cs on the St George website say 10% bonus will be credited within 4 weeks of account owners birthday. The problem is my 2 year annual fee is due after 5 weeks from my birthday and I want to cancel it before that. I am earning Amplify points so points are credited usually within a few days after each transaction. Best case scenario is I get the 10%, transfer the points to KF and then cancel the card. Would like to hear how long others have waited after their birthday to received the 10% bonus. Thanks.

Usually you can cancel credit cards a couple of weeks after the annual fee has been taken and get it refunded. Perhaps call St George to confirm that.

Thinking about getting the Bank of Melbourne variant of this card for a particular type of transaction. As far as I can tell it the same as the STG variant. Is this the case?

So should have 100k amp points sitting in account.... Just need to transfer before closing?
Also call to get the two priority Lounge passes directed?

The passes are linked to the card. Can't be transferred

I won’t churn this CC because I am getting 0.825 points on everything I put on it. No other CC does this in Australia.

So how do you use the lounge passes?
Do you swipe the card at priority pass lounge or food place?

You have to apply for priority pass via a special link then the card will come in the mail. I haven't done it yet either

I have it with Citi signature.....
So If I don't have the St George active.... I can't use the priority pass they send?
