St Paddy's Day Drinks (BNE)

Will anyone be around/is anyone interested in meeting up for some Guinness and craic on St Paddy's Day? That's Monday the 17th March.

I've usually headed up to Brisbane for a few drinks, but have been a bit slack organising this thread this year.

I was thinking Irish Murphy's as the venue, as that's where I've traditionally gone.

There's a bit more history to it as Irish Murphy's has been used as a venue on a few occasions. There was even a wild Christmas session there one year

However for St Paddy's Day, I've always been to Irish Murphy's for some reason... also helps in my mad dash across the Victoria Bridge to catch the train home!

That's a shame. Enjoying my first pint now... although I'm not sold on the plastic pint. I do understand why it has to happen though.

I hate plastic beer glasses. It is a shame the kids spoil it for responsible adults.

Had an interesting end to the night. Ended up in Maccas at Central Station, my order was misplaced, I ended up on the wrong platform so ran to the right one but couldn't see my mate. Being the good person I am I didn't board it, only to find he did.
