Having some difficulty in booking a domestic leg of an international flight (JQ3/JQ29) using ASA.

Loads of MEL-SYD options on both QF and JQ, but QF online not showing these coverted flights.

Sorry but I believe these can no longer be booked at all (paid, award or otherwise) on the QF site.

But you can still book them via the QF site, just select the date you want, in my case it was Jan 29 for the purpose of this post, when the ASA options come up select any JQ flight and any class, you will be then redirected to the JQ site where the starclass options will then show and you can reselect them as your preferred option:

You are the ASA guru Markis10! what a pity you can't book them on classic awards though.. 40k for a star class is horribly over the top when a QF J seat is around 20k

Of course it does let you reduce the points with a cash payment as per ASAs booked with Qantas. In that example 16k plus abuot $220.

Pity that is such horrible value when a QF J is 16k points and about $30...

The F lounge is not worth the difference either, I would rather spend 16k on getting 100 SCs.

Agreed.. So if someone can work out how to book them on classic awards please let me know!! :p

But sure that is just one example for that date. I didn't check but would more lead time result in a lower points cost.

Also can classic award be booked using the same method from the qantas website?

I checked a few months out and it was about the same. Very poor value.

I tried it and the flights don't appear. Classic awards all have QF flight numbers.
