State of Origin telecast in London

I am off to LHR very shortly for a nice long holiday, and I am going to be in London for the first State of Origin game.

Any suggestions as to where it might be telecast? Apart from any Walkabout pubs...

Lol. That shoots my main suggestion (as dodgy as the places are, they still show Australian football (from various codes))

I think the best Walkabout is the one on the Embankment just a short walk from the tube station,I worked there for a while and whilst it's not exactly "classy" I think it's one of the better managed venues in the chain.

Try THE HARRINGAY ARMS in CROUCH END. It's a top little boozer and is nothing like the hell you get at a walkabout.

We watched one of the games one year at Octoberfest Pub 678-680 Fulham Road SW65SA. Might be worth giving them a call (44 2077365293) to check if it's on though.

I started this thread a year ago, but can report that I ended up at the Temple Walkabout for the game. Obviously not the best pub in the world, but the atmosphere was quite fun, lots of blues and maroons jerseys, the odd suit down from work. All good fun

Slightly off topic, am in San Diego for game 1 this year, I suspect my chances of finding a venue this year will be much less. I think streaming is the go...early hours of the morning!!
