Statement Generation Fee

I have noticed DC is charging a $2 "Statement Generation Fee". It this new?

Does this apply to both paper statements and electronic statements?

Came in a couple of months ago.I got several emails warning of the charge.Electronic statements aren't charged.

No statement should be charged for, what a crock. it's part of the business a financial institution is in, communicating with customers.

The moment a utility does that to me I change and the new company is told they will only get my business is no statement fees. So far, they have all agreed.

A bank I was using tried to do this. I told them they could either cancel my account or waive the fee. They waived the fee.
