So, recently I was on a very late QF11 which meant that I missed my QF codeshare AA flight and rebooked on a UA flight. Now I'm not normally one to really care about 10SC. But I was also on the cancelled QF93 and shuffled onto QF12 and then QF437. Now as it adds up I am all of 5SC short of WP1 with no scheduled flights before my impending rollover.

Has anyone had any luck with claiming SC on a sector that you were rebooked out of your control? If so, how did you go about it?

You put in a claim for ORC (original routing credit). You could send an email to the frequent flyer email. You should have the e-ticket with the original booking and also proof of the involuntary change. Photos/scans of boarding passes showing you flew the flights would also be advisable to include.

You might wish to call up if your year end date is getting close. As you are currently a WP you shouldn't have a long wait on the phone. Though when the ORC are credited they should be credited to the year in which you actually flew.

Thanks. Very clear explanation and I will certainly email them. Hopefully they get back sooner as I am still waiting on credit for the BA flight that hasnt credited yet. At least i have a few options to tick over to WP1

Wrote in about the ORC and got an automated reply. But it must have dislodged something in their system because I got status credits for flights i took back in August that i had a Missing Points claim for... 🤣
