What class of economy? only full economy tickets will earn economy rates for the flights, any other will only be classified as "discount economy".

From my experience the cost difference of full economy vs discounted business for international flights usually means that business is a better choice.

Hi all,

First trip:

Melbourne - Hong Kong CX0134 economy 30/60
Hong Kong - Xiamen KA0604 economy

Shanghai - Sydney QF0130 economy 35/70
Sydney - Melbourne QF 0427 economy 10/20

Second trip:

Melbourne - LA QF93 economy 45/90
LA - San francisco QF3243 economy 10/20
San Francisco - London BA286 economy
London - Geneva BA732 economy
Paris - Singapore QF3978 economy
Singapore - Melbourne QF10 economy 30/60

Those are the discount economy/full economy SC's for the ones I can figure out, others here more learned will help with the rest.

Thanks, how do you check the that?

On the "View My Bookings" section of the Qantas site, under each leg of your trips, expand the "More Flight Info" and it'll display a letter next to "Economy".. generally anything other than Y is discount economy for international travel.

You can also go to www.checkmytrip.com and enter the 6-digit booking reference and your surname to see more details of the flights too.

First trip is K on the way in and V on the way back.

Second trip is K except the last 2 connections (S).

Thanks for that.

Any idea about the number of points on the other connections?

Cheers

I may be wrong about some of these, and I dont think the Xiamen flight will earn any SC's as Dragonair are not part of Oneworld (As far as I know)

So i think you're looking at 245 SC's from these trips. Considering that they're in discount economy, thats a fair bit! Equivalent to 12 SYD>MEL returns.

They’re an earning member-affiliate of CX.

Unlike how JQ is a non-earning non-member-affiliate of QF.

That will be close as i need 225 points.

I just not sure about the BA flight form SF to london. On qantas website they mention a 0.25 factor

Thats the number of FF points you earn. SC's are different to FF Points.
