Hi all,

Just wondering if someone could help me with a query. Am looking at booking a flight on Cathay from London to Kuala Lumpur via Hong Kong. The cheapest fare at the moment is on Economy Supersaver (Q) which doesn't accrue Asia miles so I guess that means I don't get any Frequent Flyer points for my QFF account but does that also mean that I don't get any Status Credits either? Thanks in advance.

Q class on Cathay Pacific is ineligable for mileage accrual on Qantas FF so indeed there would be zero status credit earning too

Thanks for the quick reply guys. Appreciate it. Now I just have to weigh up if the extra £170 is worth the 15,000 points and 100 odd Status Credits that I assume I'll get with Economy Save (V)

I think your sums are a little off.
I reckon it's 120 SC return, and 7571 points that you would earn for the return journey.

Ah my mistake. Didn't realise discount economy only earns 0.5pts per mile. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
Think that makes my decision a little easier. Thanks again
