I'm trying to find out if there is a status credit calculator for all one world airlines so i can see what credits i can earn

I've got a few trips to Fiji coming up and also to China and I can't use the calculator on the QF site as the flights aren't all operated by qantas.

Any hints?

Nick

Hi Nick, there's no official SC calculator that I'm aware of without calculating the mileage and manually looking at the tables.

However, Mileage Monkey will calculate them for you if you put in the airport codes. MileageMonkey 0.95015

You need to enter your airport codes in the Oneworld Explorer Validator and hit "Ignore Errors". At the bottom of the page it will show a SC table with Economy, Business and First based on the mielage from the two cities entered. Economy is shown as Discount Economy so if you're flying full economy, you will need to double it.

Eg. BNE-NAN-BNE is 40 in whY, 160 in J and 240 in First.

Hope this helps.

The other way is to use something like "Flight Mapper" Great Circle Mapper and put in your route such as Brisbane-Sydney and select the airport codes (or if you know the airport codes, BNE-SYD), get the calculated distance for the flight and use the Qantas points table here to work out the SC's. The Mileage monkey way is pretty efficient rather than the manual way above.

Keep in mind that airlines can use distances slightly less or more than the ones quoted by both methods (a few miles). If very close to a zone change, then you could earn either the higher one or the lower one depending on the airlines involved.

I have actually created one within my mileage tracking spreadsheet. It takes ariport codes, calculates the mileage between them and does the look up for you. It has a lot of airport pairs but not too comprehensive for Africa and SA.

I tried to get it to automate the status calculation but it has become a little bloated so I might take that out...
