Status not updating.

Well it seems for what ever reason despite me hitting WP and recieving my WP card,tags etc is till shows me in the system as a mere SG
I didn't think anything of it as my welcome screen on the FF page shows me as Platinum, however suspicions were raised when i could only access what is normally offered to SG in the seat maps and sure enough I go to check in and it prints QF Gold/OW Sapphire.
Spoke to the person on the front desk to the Dom J lounge and he said it is still showing as Gold, and to give them a call on Monday morning to rectify this.
Just curious to see if this has happended to others or just got "lucky" and it happend to me.

Sounds like a glitch.. I'd ring them to sort it out..

I'm guessing it will affect your seat selection too

Yep seat selection was the usual SG seat map, thankfully managed to snag 6A outbound, and 23A(bulkhead) inbound at the T-80 mark.
Hopefully a call on Monday morning will have things fixed.

I take it you haven't got to WP without doing a fair bit of flying on QF however if you haven't yet flown your 4 eligible QF/JQ flights within your current membership year you won't be elevated to the next tier.

My profile still shows me as NB when I've done at least 700 SC so in theory I should now be SG however as I haven't yet flown on 4 eligible QF/JQ flights within my current membership year that's where I stay until I've done them.

The slight drawback was that I didn't get my 25% points bonus on my HNL/SYD/BNE JASA fare. At least for our next JASA I'm in the same pnr as SO who is SG so I can select a decent seat by riding on his coat tails.

I would say most of the flying was with AA (have to love instant upgrades), but definitely have the 4 qualifying flights covered.

Just as a update spoke to the FF help desk, they have to flag it to someone else, so 24-48 hours until it is rectified
