Sorry if this is posted elsewhere..

I am wondering what the status I would get for a Long Haul Flight, Leaving Brisbane to Milan in Premium Economy, One way..

Is it just the one lot of status, 150 Points for 8000+ Miles or is it split in sections, Brisbane to Abu Dhabi and then Abu Dhabi to Milan?

I used to fly a lot with work but don't anymore, I am going to be close to requalifying Platinum, want to know how far I will be though hence this question.

AFAIK long haul is split into segments (unlike domestic where MEL-OOL (via SYD) is credited as MEL-OOL only), I believe you'll be issued separate status for each leg.
But, I haven't done it personally. Hoping that my SYD-SIN-NRT trips coming up will credit separately, as it'll get me a long way to requalifying for Gold!

You will get points and SC based on segments BNE / AUH + AUH/ MIL

You mentioned you are travelling in PY ? EY does not offer PY cabin only 3 class Y J F ( on selected routes) . If you are traveling on VA29/30 they do offer PY, but this is from SYD to AUH only

Yeah, it's economy on Etihad, Premium with the VA29 flight to Abu Dhabi.

Do they offer a combined Y+/J fare or is it effectively the sum of two returns (SYD-auh y+ vv and auh-eu j vv)?

Obviously the advertised fare is Y+/Y.

SQ will definitely credit separately.

Yeah, it's economy on Etihad, Premium with the VA29 flight to Abu Dhabi.

If that is the routing you will receive points / SC based on the actual fare class booked BNE SYD AUH MIL and same in return
