Status + points for a rewards flight on DJ?

Hi Folks,

Nothing I could find on the Velocity or DJ web sites, perhaps lack of information is my answer (?).

If I book a domestic ticket on DJ using Velocity points, or even points + pay, do I gain any status or points back? QFF ASA awards can give you both (depending on exact ticket you choose), but then they use miles rather than purchase price to gain the SC and FF points.

The answer is sadly no and no. DJ needs to pick up the game on this department.
