I thought i would have made it to silver with my status points , going to LA return from Perth on Premiumn Economy in March now this week from Perth (Qantas)to Sydney then Sydney - Honolulu Buisness class Jet star, then looked at my activity and they have taken 240 points off me from march till September, this is NOT fair as I could have gone cheaper but did the right thing being QF, Any advice????????????????????

So what happened, did 240 SC's expire at the end of September or something???

I have had this happen before where i would have achieved silver from my SCs earned in a calendar year but in September my year rolled over and i lost my previous built up SCs... If that is the case not sure there is much you can do, I guess your expected to keep an eye on these things...

thanks for the reply yes expired in sept but i thought a calander year mine were mostly done in 8months and if that was the case by the time i get back to perth ( sydney - perth) on nov 30th i would have done well over 330 in 8months , keeping my options open now as i have been a loyal QF now since Annsett went down the gurgal

I didn't myself as the benefits for silver aren't anything to write home about anyway, but about all you could do is write to them and ask if they can cut you some slack, but doubt they will...

But on the other hand all they can say is no, so nothing ventured nothing gained... Probably get more love if you had reached some status in previous years with QF but i am guessing you haven't or that roll over date would be very front of mind to you... ;)

That is a shame, but SYD-HNL rtn is 280 SC. Very close to getting silver. Assuming you are on a Business Max fare.
