Hi All,

I have been browsing through the status run threads but appears that they are almost all relating to runs starting at SYD.

I need 180 credits prior to 31 December to hit Gold. I may have work related travel in December to get part of the way there but don't want to chance it.

Therefore does anyone know of any good routing ex MEL to reach my target?

Thank in advance.

Look for indirect routes.. MEL-ADL-PER is one.. MEL-BNE-TSV is another too. the TSV one will net 240sc's in J. PER via ADL i think is around 200.

Why not MEL/CBR/SYD/HBA/MEL. That will net you 180SC on a JASA. Cost you 48,000 points plus some dollars. And get 5,000 plus points back. Advantage is you get to try 3 Business lounges, and can be done in a day, though I usually spend a night in Canberra.

How many QFF points are you prepared to 'burn' in doing this and how much time do you have?

It's getting to a tough time of year with such little notice for the better value JASA's.

I have done my status runs out of Melbourne.
JASA: MEL-ADL-CBR-ADL will get u 180 points if you choose indirect flights via SYD or MEL (U will Then need to book a cheap flight back from ADL)
If you dont want to use too many points you can go Flexi RTN MEL-ADL 40 Points and JASA ADL-CBR-ADL 140 Points
