Status run

Guess nobody here has done the ADL > TSV Status run, hence no idea if timing issues are on this run...?

I've "priced" it a couple of times, but never flown it. From memory it works out with at least a 30 minute connection time in TSV. So I wouldn't expect any problems. There are also a number of options for the BNE-ADL leg, including one with about 3 or 4 hours in BNE - this is my preferred because it gives me time to see friends/family. So even if you missed the TSV-BNE, taking the later option gives you room in BNE to still get home in time.

We did the SYD-BNE-TSV JASA runs twice - the first time we stayed in TSV for the weekend, and the second time hubby did it by himself in order to get plat to increase our luggage allowance for our move to London. He did it in one day! - left SYD early in the morning, and came back in the evening. He spent 20 mins in the lounge while waiting for the plane to turn around. It was the same plane from BNE to TSV and back. So, if you go via BNE then it may be feasible. Good luck.

BUMP...

Anyone...?

QF only have one jet originated service into TSV which is ex BNE, so your flight in is your flight out with no chance of an AC swap, everything else is a DASH 8 to other ports.

Thanks Markis10, so its a pretty safe run then, even though there is only 30 odd minutes between flights...

Its basically a get off, get back on scenario...

Pretty efficient status run, time-wise...

ADL-TSV return as a JASA will cost 48000 points + $179 and return 240 SCs:

Dont forget you do earn some points back as well:

Interesting to see that a SYD-BNE-TSV-BNE-SYD costs 48000 as well but only nets 200 SC's...
