Hi all. From what i can gather status on DJ is all about how much you spend, to a degree, rather than how often you fly.

I.e. my main route is HBA-ADL and i can generally always get a flight for $120 - 150. Now to get silver i need 20,000 points. 20,000 = (roughly) $2000? (5 points per dollar spent) So therefore all i need to do is spend 2k on flights and BINGO i have silver? Correct or not?

The reason why i ask is coz i need to be in ADL on the 6th and the cheapest flight i can now get is around $250 and therefore 10 % of the way to silver!

20000 pts at 5pts per dollar is $4000 spend is it not??

This is correct from zero... Gurio, how many points do you have at the moment? I notice you have almost silver in your stats.... so if you have 10k, yes that would be another $2k in travel needed before the end of your review period.

Clearly the reason why i dont work for the big 4!

But yes as assumed i was correct... I've really got to change my thingoe coz I'm not even remotely close to silver at the moment as my new year started not that long ago.
