Has anyone else experienced this? I find VA usually very reliable with the posting of points and SCs but lately I've had problems with points and SCs posting after successful upgrade bid flights. Flights usually post within 2 days and, if it doesn't, it usually means it won't. I find it very annoying to have to wait the 2 weeks before I can claim. However, with my most recent flights, claiming through the portal didn't work, wrote to velocity who replied that it should take 5 working days and it's already been longer than that. I now have the joy of going through this again with the return flight...

I did wonder myself how VA would deal with this and not surprised that it involves, like quite a lot of things with VA, a phone call. Do keep us allminformed how this goes, surely there must be many people on the forum who get upgrades and can inform on how this is dealt?

I've had two Plusgrade flights (SYD-PER & PER-BNE) in the last month both post the standard points and SC within 6 hours of flying, as has seemed to be the standard recently for VA flights on VA metal. Not sure where the issue lies.

I flew standard Y CNS-BNE (no upgrade) two days ago but have yet to see points hit either, maybe there's a delay at the moment? By contrast, the flight I took 10 days ago going the other way the points hit almost instantly, as have all the others in recent months (including upgraded flights), so not sure why the difference now.

Yes, similar happened to me last month. Both points upgrades, first flight didn’t post, but second did on same day as flight. Despite clearly being an error, had to phone twice, after 5 days, and then the obligatory 2 weeks. And then again after incorrect points allocated.

I tend to find that a booking which has had no modification will hit pretty quickly after landing.
If a booking has had a modification IE flight change / re-routing / upgrade you may not land for (normally exactly) 7 days.

Though overarching, there doesn't seem to be any rule of thumb.
