Hi All,

Is it possible to get a supplementary card for this product?

Thanks,
K.

Thanks serfty. Just checking, there is no fee for the supp card?

Also it says the supp card holder will need to be a qf member and EDR member.

So I can't the QFF points pooled to the primary (me) account?

No fee for Supplementary card. The application form asks for their Everyday Rewards card number so it can be added to the back of the card as a bar code. Any FF points earned by way of scanning the EDR bar code at Woolworths establishments go to the account of the supplementary card holder (via the usual EDR account process), but points for the credit card spend all go to the primary card holder's QFF account.

You can do family transfers ...

Got my hopes up briefly before you mentioned that, would have got my mum signed up, but no dice if it's just transfers ;)

That was only for FF points earned by way of scanning the EDR bar code at Woolworths shops.

The CC points go to the primary card holder (as posted by NM).

Thanks guys for the info :)

Still tossing up if I should get the woolworths mastercard EDR at 1 QFF point per $.
I am looking for a visa/mastercard that will earn me at least 1 point per $. I have the westpac altitude plat MC at 0.5 point per $ which is really poor value. I use more on AMEX though but I have an AMEX card already. Just need to sort out the government charges and any non amex establishments to use.

It's a no brainer for me to go for the citibank plat signature which I think offers 1 point per $ for SQ and a few other programs. But the annual fee is too high. I already pay enough for AMEX lol.

So was thinking citibank business gold which I think is 1.25 QFF per $ ? And this woolworths card which is 1 point per $.

Only issue is I'm not sure if QFF is anygood with burning points. Especially for international flights. I think I am covered for domestic flights as I get the free flights on the EDGE and Reserve card...

So in a bit of a dilemma....

I am converting the majority of my spending onto my EDR Qantas Master Card. Amex will be closed very shortly. The only things that won't go onto my EDR card will be overseas transactions which go onto 28 degrees card.

Now waiting out the initial 6 months period for a credit limit increase offer. Just requested the minimum $8K when I took it out, but just normal household/family spending is close to that each month. Spend was previously around 50% on Amex and 50% on CBA Mastercard. Now its going to be 98% on EDR Mastercard, so $12K would be a better limit. Now just awaiting delivery of Mrs NM's Supp card.

I see. Yeah I just can't give up Ascent unfortunately. QFF will be a bonus for me on the side I suppose.

The Citibank Business Gold Visa has been a handy back up to my Amex. 1.25 points per $ is non to shabby for QFF. I know it is capped at I think 250,000 but I don't get anywhere near that. Very handy for those HI stays!

Sorry to sound like a complete newbie, but why is it handy for your holiday inn stays? :)

The other card I am also considering is the virgin flyer card...

There is a 3 point per $ bonus on top of the 1.25 for HI and CP stays in Oz. (Presumably IC's but I don't get to stay at IC's.) If you stay at HI's regularly the points soon add up. :)

The Citibank business Gold Visa doesn't seem to get a huge amount of attention on AFF. Perhaps I miss the threads?

Thanks. I will go look at the bonus partner list now to see if I should go with Citibank or Woolworths :)

To reap the sign up points and increase your chances for targeted promo's , is it not better to have two cards , rather than a supp card ?
This way a couple get more joint buying power per cycle too.
Seems a no brainer to me .. am I missing something ??

Just a question or two if I may. I don't have this card, nor does my soon to be fiancé, ;)

Here are our circumstances:

I have a QF FF Acct, this is our primary acct which we generally transfer all points to.
She has a QF FF Acct which we just send points to my acct with, she only travels with me
I have a WW EDR Card which we both use. As I never go shopping she keeps the card, but it's in my name.

If she gets a WW EDR CC in her name and me as a supplementary card holder, how do we go with the points? Does she now need to get her own EDR card too or can she use mine and link it to HER Credit Card? If she gets one of her own do we just scrap mine altogether and use her EDR card for both cards and then transfer all the points to my QF FF Acct?

Yes she needs her own EDR card too.

She can still present your EDR card and spend on get credit card though.
