Earlier today I got a phone call from Qantas to comment on their service of the Qantas lounge.

They asked what needed to be improved on the service
and what was great about the service.

As a thank you for participating I got a $50 voucher to use

Wish they’d phone me!

If the call lasted for say 60 minutes I would have been happy to take calls all day today for $50 per hour! (Today my day entailed reading through AFF and FT for the hours of 9-5, ahh how I hate to be grounded!).

If we’re comparing days, I rolled out of bed at 1330, watched TV this afternoon and had some drinks at the hotel bar this evening, before watching the AFL and soon the opening ceremony of the World Cup. :p

Not comparing delays - just would have been a perfect day for the QF calls @ $50 per hour! (wishful thinking I know! :) )

You would have only participated in the survey for the $50 voucher. ;)

I get calls at work about people wanting my opinion on various subjects; before answering anything I will firstly ask if they are renumerating me for my time/opinion. If the answer is no I'll hang up in an instant.

I will do a survey if I am in the mood with or without reward.

I once knocked back $90 from CBA to go into the city for a 90 minute focus group. Just could not be bothered to spend all that time travelling by train to get to the venue.

I have a bronze status. However, have used over 30 times in the last 5 months.

My Qantas Club membership - is one year validity, and it's coming up 6 months now.

I just touched on some of the conversations that were discussed:!: here on this forum on what needs to be improved, and couldn't stress enough about the dress code, the food (needs a vast overhaul) and use of the the computers. I said also about priority baggage becoming a free for all when it comes out on the conveyer belt at the other end - making me delayed at best.
