Just wondering whether anyone else has got a suspended account notification. For me I couldn't see it in the app, but I could see it by going to the ALL website and viewing my account (edit: account overview)

There is a banner stating

"Due to suspicious activity on your account and for security reasons, access to certain services and your member benefits is currently locked. Please contact our customer service to reactivate your account."

I contacted them (on the link next to the banner) and they asked to change password, inform them that I've changed password, and given a link to send ID documents.

My main concern is giving government-issued identity document.

Just wondering have others given (or other recall giving) government identity document when setting up their ALL account?

Now having just changed my password I'm all not too sure whether there is some scam happening.

Just a point, you hand them your government ID every time you check in with their property.

Not when setting up the account, but the purpose of ALL is hotels so at some point ALL will have your details scanned into their systems.

You sure this isn’t a scam? The highlighted part sounds very suspicious to me. I wouldn’t be sending ID documents to Accor in this manner.

Contact them again through separate and different means and ask the question again.

It isn't scam, It was happen on my account 3 months ago , after uploaded my DL to their security link from email, the warning was remove after 2 business days.

I thought this may happen if you used VPN or public networks inside hotels and login in your account during that period.

I had the same last year. At the time, they wanted me to email my passport or drivers license to them, which I refused to do. I reached out to some senior leader at Accor on LinkedIn, who was able to get the requirement waived.

ALL will not necessarily have your ID details. Mostly the hotels are validating the registered guest is who they say they are - this doesn't mean those details get sent to ALL.

Asking for ID the way they wave seems to be standard MO for getting an account unlocked. Try calling them.

Just to wrap up my experience as ALL has now removed the suspension/banner.

So as I said earlier, happened to noticed the 'suspension notice' banner on my account - overview on the ALL website (suspension notice was not visible on the ALL app).

Use the Contact us link on the banner and ALL responded with asking to me change password, inform them of that, and government-issued identity.

After considering the comments above, I decided to change password and inform them, but pushed back on giving the government-issued identity.

ALL informed me that they escalated my concerns on their request for government-issued identity.

Finally ALL came back and asked for different information and when I provided that the 'suspension notice' banner was removed.

What different information did they request instead of ID?
