Hi guys,

sorry for the recent onslaught of posts.

I have a question re family pooling and changing the pooling members.

Later in the year in October, I am travelling from BNE-NTL with a family member who will be pooling to me. We are on an early AM service.
The following day, I have a different family member travelling BNE-NAN who I wish to pool to me, this is also an AM service.

Is there any specific way to switch pooling members here to ensure I get SCs for both services? Is it simply a matter of cancelling the pooling after travel & adding the new pooling before their travel i.e. works on time or does it work on dates rather?

Any advice or feedback on how to tackle this situation would be appreciated

Switch the "new" pool the morning before the flight.

I had similar but had a day in between.

The system generated email states the date, but does not specify time. The "date" listed is the date you do the switch.

So on the day of the BNE-NAN flight, first delete the family member who travelled with you, then add the member who is pooling to you on their BNE-NAN flight.

Yeah a day in between would make life so much easier!

Ok, so cancel the pooling member from the BNE-NTL flight the day after the service, which will be the same day as the BNE-NAN new member service. And at that new family member straight away. And I would say play it safe by doing all this before the BNE-NAN service.I do recall previously when changing members that you get that message saying "all points/SCs will be pooled from the date you set it up". I was just a little unsure if setting up the pooling on the day of travel would cause any dramas.

But thanks for the feedback, very helpful
