Hello,
I am trying to fly PE from either SYD or BNE to LAX using QFF points. Out is around 14-15 Sep Back around 30 Sep.
I can get 1 PE out on 14th but when I try for 2 it shows none available
Online are showing zero return seats available from LAX - SYD/BNE.
I have about 180K in points and Wife with 110K
Do I ring Qantas direct and try to book 2 PE seats out if available with the operator and then buy Economy and try to upgrade with points.
I'm all ears
Thanks
Brendan

Unless you have status you have more chance of winning lotto than getting an upgrade with points. I think your main is (and I could be wrong) is it is during school holidays when you are trying to book, and they normally don't release too many award seats during those times. You could try QF call centre, pay the points fee, and see if they will release a second PE seat for you, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

If you can get 2 x PE with QF, and can't get anything for the return why not try PE on VA as its a good product, and equal (if not better) to QF
