SYD-CGK in J options

Garuda offers daily flights, outward with brief stop in Bali. Cost c. $ 2,500 r/t. I believe daily flights but Qantas is not daily. Are there other good options at respectable prices?

I've seen Qantas J around the $2K return mark when on sale. Not too bad considering you'd get the new A330 J suites. SYD-CGK is also a sweet spot for QFF redemptions as the number of points required is slightly lower than most other Asian destinations. As you say though, it's not daily.

QF & GA are the only direct options, but if you don't mind the extra flying time there's always SQ via SIN. Or if you're after a cheaper option you could fly JQ "Business" (more like premium economy) to DPS and then book another flight to CGK. DPS-CGK is less than 2 hours.

Thanks Mattg. Looks like GA this time considering schedules. Interesting that going out, AC is A300-300 but return is A300-200. I hope both are similar cabins in J with fully-flat type seating.
