The NSW government would likely get better revenue by being paid by whoever owns the airport, than if it ran the airport itself … private corporations are expected to be bigger coughholes who treat their employees like scum.
Which means any agreement WRT the existing train is going to be between two private entities; the owner of airport operations, and the owner of the right to charge customers for access to the airport stations. Gumbyment getting involved in that would result in all sorts of NO THEY CAN’T DO THAT!!!
