Do annual lounge members have access to the Sydney Premium Entry?

And can velocity gold members bring a guest through the premium entry?

1. No.

Sydney Lounge Premium Entry is available exclusively to Virgin Australia Business Class and Premium Economy guests, Velocity Platinum and Gold members and partner airline reciprocal status members travelling with carry-on baggage only.

2. Yes. I've done it many times.

Looks like esseeeayeenn has answered what you need to know...But just to confirm (second confirmation is always nice I guess)
Lounge members cannot use premium entry, but a gold can bring an additional guest ( and I've done this regularly without issue)
