Hi all,

With the current 15% bonus for points transfers, it's tempting to transfer the balance of AMEX MR points I have to take advantage. In the past though it has seemed that such bonus offers have often had a Status Credit bonus associated with them.

Do other members think that we'll see offers including Status Credits in future generally? ANZ have had an offer recently, but that seems to have been initiated by ANZ and is not applicable to card holders from other institutions.

SC offers are a lot fewer and further between. the 15% bonuses often comes up twice a year, so if you don't need the points to book anything till at least november, just wait and see

Hi all,

I was thinking of also doing this as I have some 40 000 points on my card and are getting sick of Myer vouchers, but I think I will wait until I decide I need to fly next!

Finally converted my CBA points (225 000 or so ) as I was never going to get better than the 15% bonus it seems. Should have done it two years ago when it was still 2:1. Hard to watch all those points turn into so little but I'm ditching the card soon so no point keeping them. Probably should have turned them into Flight Centre vouchers but couldn't be bothered.

Can't decide whether to switch to Velocity with 15% or save and switch to Singapore

All my miles are in Velocity now (500,000) but I did switch some to SQ last year and obviously the rate there is 1:1.35

So if i'm going to use SQ then I'd be better off going straight from Amex to SQ as its 1:1 also (same as Velocity)

Points expire after 3 years on SQ so watch out for that, but def sweep straight to SQ if u plan on booking with SQ

So the 15% bonus points offer expires at midnight tonight right?
Is that midnight EST in AU?
Concerning family pooling is the amount unlimited that can be transferred into another family member account?
