Has anyone had any experience with this? I'm off to Wisconsin in December I have been told that they fresh produce is very hard to get at that time of year. So I thought of getting it vacuum packed and taking it with me.

I'm fairly sure the USA will have no problems with the meat the trouble is I'm traveling through Hong Kong Taiwan and Japan on the way.

I'd love to hear from anyone with experience in this.

I guess you need to check for any quarantine restrictions on the way. Then you need to decide how you'll pack it and keep it refrigerated/cold during travel.

I'm not sure why you'd bother as there is this place called Texas and they have trucks and such in the US. So I can't imagine there would be significant long term issues getting food in.

What? Am I reading this right; I think you would have no issue with buying a steak in Wisconsin at any time of the year.

you'll get fresh produce no worries at that time of year. they even have the internet in the USA now too.

I'd like to sit and chat to the clowns who originally supplied you with this load of cough - could be the funniest 15 minutes one could ever experience.

I know about Texas and the others freight options. I assumed like you all would be fine. I was talking to a local about cooking up a nice roast when she said it may be difficult to get fresh produce. She does live way out in dairy country so who knows.
