Hi.

I've taken a role at work that is a FIFO roster 6-2.
I'll be based in Melbourne and working in Sulawesi (Indonesia). This involves a flight to Manado which I believe is serviced by Silkair and Garuda.

I had hoped to join the qantas club so I could use the facilities going back and fourth but will probably end up using Singapore for each leg. However, their program doesn't seem as available - 50000 miles or some such thing.

Anyway, if there are any tips coming to mind, I'd love to hear them.

Cheers.

Hmmm - PT Inco (or whatever they call themselves now?)

Nice part of the world (apart from the mine)... lol

Take lots of packs of seed of your fav veges and grow your own, friends who were based there used to take nearly a suit case of Big W seed packs back after each visit!

PM me and I'll give you a couple of names if you are at the mine to look up - friendly faces as such... LOL, I nearly took the electrical super's job there a few years back, only thing that stopped me was not being able to take my dog, then get her back to Australia if things didn't work out

Good luck

Thanks for the feedback. I'd be keen to ask you a few questions about your experiences but can't use the pm thing because I haven't posted 15 times.

I guess I could flood this thread to get up to 15...

I wouldn’t recommend that. Perhaps munitalP can PM you his email, and you can then use that to discuss.
