Hi Guys,

Hoping someone has some knowledge that i have missed.
I travel at least once a month to Tasmania and stay in both Hobart and Launceston.
I am trying to determine if there are any hotels that i shlould stay at that may be part of a loyalty program like HHonours of SPG.
As QF Gold and status matched Velocity I am trying to maximise the hotel part.'

I currently stay at Wrest Point in Hobart and Country Club in Launceston as they offer 3 for 1 QFF points.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Nathan

Have to agree Sprucegoose! The only possible loyalty piece is Accor with the Mercure properties, but I have to ask if it is worth the worry for both the program and the properties! They are both pretty average!

I joined up to Accor with some serious business activity in Perth and haven't seen anything on my statement.

And you know what? I simply don't care. If they cant do their jobs they simply dont get my money. Given that the man with the gold makes the rules, they lose!!!

Another and final strike - ACCOR!!!!!

Thanks guys

That is what i thought, which is a shame, as it would generate for me about 20+ stays and 40+ room nights :(

Have a look at Rydges for Hobart. Very good benefits after 10 stays in a calendar year. 50% off food and drinks is nice.

Yes but Rydges Hobart is pretty average and a bit of a hike outside the CBD.
And yes there is nothing in Tasmania for points junkies.have to shop at Coles because Woolies in Tassie doesn't recognise the mainland.
Of course once upon a time the Grand Chancellor in hobart was a Sheraton.
