In my line of work I see too many old, fat wrinkly tattoos and would have to agree

Yeah i have thought of getting an arm band one, but the thing about what they look like in 10-20 years has weighed on my mind... Just me but i would only get one where people can see it when i feel like showing it, so upper arm or so... not a fan of the ones over the feet and calves and all that, specially not really for showing off at work unless they are small and smart...

Apparently I told my wife that I'd get a tattoo when I turn 40. She reminded me of this last weekend as I started talking about planning my 40th birthday party for next year

I'm thinking a tiger on the upper arm, well hidden by a short sleeve shirt. Nothing to do with Tiger airways, just always been a tiger fan. Something along the lines of this

I'd have it where it can be fully seen by all, really good for exc, job prospects too and if later in life you don't want it any more only few thou $ to have it removed.

I think you would have to work in a very restrictive environment if they didn't like a tattoo that couldn't be mostly hidden by a shirtsleeve.
I wouldn't work in a place like that.
