I flew back PER-SYD yesterday and couldn't fault anything. Lo and behold I get an emailed customer feedback survey! First time I've received one and they find me in a good mood...
Anyone done these?
They're lucky they didn't get me in a nasty mood!;)

Yup, got one of those after my last BNE/MEL flight. Was one of those "nothing" flights .. very routine, nothing to make it either good or bad. I think I said something along the lines of "it would be nice if the crew were a little more engaging" or something silly like that

Well it took a lot longer than they said (don't they always?)
Anyone who'd just had a bad flight would have given them a pasting. I was pretty soft on them.

I suddenly remembered as I was doing it that the bags took 40 minutes to arrive after we'd reached the gate. So that got a mention! Flight itself was pretty good on the A330 with full IFE unlike the flight over to PER.

We usually find Qantas domestic flights pretty 'average'. Last flight Syd-Pth was unusually cold. They were handing out blankets prior to the flight but did not come down our side of the aircraft. Once airborne when the cold set in we buzzed and requested blankets- 'sorry none left, do you have a jacket you could put on'.

However Qantas redeemed itself, big time, following our arrival in Perth when we found one of our bags was missing. Luckily we have never had this experience before and this time at the end of a very long fight with waits at airports from San Francisco - Los Angles - Auckland - Sydney we were devistated. The Qantas ground staff were very efficient, took all details, assured us the bag would probably be on the next flight etc. Offered to deliver it as soon as it arrived, we laughed, as we live in country WA and no one delivers to our door. Q staff said yes they would and that evening at 2130 hours a courier phones, on a city mobile that does not get country service particularly well, to try and find and location and behold the bag was delivered to our gate (not too far to walk to collect). Okay, pity it got mislaid in the first place but exceptional delivery and follow up by phone calls by Qantas keeping us fully informed of our missing bags status. This makes up for the lack of blankets and usual very average food.

I received one from Jetstar earlier this month. Fairly detailed survey regarding check-in, boarding, service, customers and baggage handling.

Hahaha....

I do so many flights a year on QF that the opening remark in the safety video about "likley sitting in a different seat" doesn't apply to me - ;)

I necer get asked to do surveys...

Mr!

Mr!

Interestingly I saw an anlaysis of some aircraft incidents. One pilot whom flies in the same seat every time, when the aircraft was inverted and smoke filled ended up dying because he didn't release his seat belt.

I'm sure they won't be sending surveys to the pax from the HKG-PER A330 flight the other day!

I also got the Jetstar survey earlier this month. My first Jetstar trip - Melbourne to Newcastle (vs 100+ Qantas flights). The flight was late so I wasn't thrilled.

Hi,

Very similar experience. After 100's QF flights I take JQ35(or 36) from MEL-SYD to drop in on the FLounge and get the "please help us" email from Jetstar asking about my experience, late flight, bad service in *Class and horible seating 1A (if you have flown JQ *C you know how bad this seat is. I gave them a roasting.
