Does anyone know when Thai releases its award seats?

Am searching for a star alliance trip to Europe next October 20-ish; I can see NH, OS, OZ and TK flight combinations (using Aeroplan) but no Thai options.

What do people think of Asiana business Vs Thai?

Edit: Working through the Aeroplan availability calendar, Thai flights starting to appear at 328 days. Sound right?

And I see heaps of SQ availability coming up. Might wait a bit :) .

Very similar. Just did two sectors on Asiana in the last week.

Sector one: BKK-ICN, OZ A380. Only sells J on this sector and was "upgraded" to F seat (with J service), so can't complain about that. Flight was about 5 hrs, departing just after midnight. Full meal service provided, which I skipped in preference to sleep, but would have been nice to have a prelanding light breakfast instead, plus cabin lights stayed on for some time. Seat excellent (well it was an F seat), but the blanket provided was terrible, did not fully cover me, was just like an older style QF or SQ economy blanket (pre 2010). Used the BR lounge, which is better than TG lounge.

Sector two: ICN-SIN, OZ A330. Standard angled lie flat seat, like SQ regional J, Thai A330 J, older MH A330 J, etc. Seat was fine for sitting in. Service good, prosciutto and melon starter, salad, steak (medium rare, very good) and then cheese and ice cream. Nobillo Sauvignon Blanc plus some other wines. Service good. Snack served prior to landing. Once again the same coughpy blanket. Worst part of product was IFE - 13 or 14 hollywood movies - half of them family/animation, nothing to watch that interested me at all. Not just because it is a Korean airline - there were only 7 Korean films as well. Probably worst IFE in terms of content - on an AVOD configured plane - I've had for some time. Had downloaded some TV episodes on my ipad to watch during meal service, and for rest of flight just worked. Lounge is so-so, nice hard product, poor catering. Unfortunately they leave from main part of terminal, so can't access the better SQ lounge.

Rate them alongside TG. Sub-par compared to SQ, and I also prefer MH to either TG or OZ.
