THAI ROP Points - How to best use 18.5k points before 31st Dec 2011?

Hello fellow knowledgeable AFF followers,

Can you please advice how best to use 18.5k ROP (Royal Orchid Plus) points before they expire in Dec’11?

• I am based in Sydney so don’t think my points are enough to use for any flight – don’t have any holiday planned.
• Hotels – apart from a hotel in Geelong, they don’t seem to offer any other hotel for which a night’s stay would cost no more than my current points balance.
• Shopping – can I use it on this?
• Magazines – Only this seem to be the option where I can use my points prior to they expire, which is not my preferred option unfortunately.

Anyone has any other view?
