Just wondering if everyone else got this email from AA?

From all of us at American Airlines, we thank you for your business this year and for your loyalty...
Whether you travel to see friends and family or to meet with clients and colleagues, we know that arriving is one of the best parts of your trip.

We’re honored to take part in so many arrivals around the world every day. With our best wishes for the season and coming year, please enjoy this holiday video which celebrates how arrivals of all kinds bring joy.

The Video: American Airlines - Happy Holidays

When clicked directly from the email, mine started with my name and ended with -

Your continued business and loyalty are deeply appreciated. We look forward to being a part of many more of your arrivals in the years to come.
Whereas, the direct-link, non-personalised version above, has a more bland ending.

Considering I've got an empty account with them I'd take a stab and say anyone signed up to receive emails from them got it.

I got one of them. I take it must be a blanket note.

Still, I guess I haven't received a similar email from any other company except for Priority Club.

Yes both I and mrsdrron-and she hasn't credited a flight to AA in 2 years.
However these are regular-i have had one every year plus when i got to 1 million miles. They do try and make you feel wanted.

Considering that to date have only used my AA Advantage to collect points for car hire - I was surprised to receive one. Maybe a nice points holiday present would have been nice - OK, I'll stop dreaming. For now.

Got an AA e-mail thanking me for my loyalty. Haven't set foot in a AA plane for about 10 ~ years now. Still, it's a nice touch.

Dear Oneworldplus2,
As this year comes to a close, we’d like to thank you for your loyal membership in the AAdvantage
® program. We hope your holiday season is filled with family, friends and fun. And if a little adventure is in order, why not use your miles for more than just flights with our brand-new Car & Hotel Awards. It’s a great value! We’re looking forward to sharing more memories and miles with you in the coming year. Happy Holidays!

Yep I got it, having been a member for all of 6 months. They must really love that $1100USD I gave them in return for my 50,000 points :p

I also got my monthly statement today...couldn't believe my eyes, I actually got the 1,000 miles promised to me for signing up to e-notifications!

I have received the email as well.

All my miles have been earned from promotions and Live Search Club.
