Some readers may recall the way that redemption booking cancellations were able to be processed via the SQ website. That has now been replaced with a manual process.

In my case I cancelled three redemption bookings about a month ago. One set of miles and taxes have been refunded but two are still pending. To top it off, my credit card expired along the way which is causing even more pain as they are having difficulty processing the refund as they have the older details in their system.

Interestingly, I booked the tix on the website from Australia, was charged in CHF on my credit card. The refund has to be manually processed via the Zurich ticketing office.

It must be quite a workload within the SQ system managing this process.

Bummer, Alby.
No such hassles for me, as barring any traffic fubars, Mrs D and I are booked on our redemption flights to SIN this morning in J. Means I'll have to pay my BAS from the Fullerton, but oh well...............

hahah...I'm good. I have redemption flights booked in their system and the 4 albatrosses will be winging it to CDG before we know it. Just need to see the miles come back.

Interestingly, miles refunds do not appear on the various statement views on the website.
