Same for all cabin classes?

I was flying J but that never came up in the conversation. They had a box full of the same thing and everyone seemed to get the same thing.

Enough to get out of trouble for a night.

Yes, it was fine. My bag was delivered this morning so I at least can go to work today in something other than the Qantas pyjamas 😝

The zippered bag for those PJs seems better than what you get in J on an overnight flight.

J PJs used to come in a drawstring bag, but recently have just been tied up with cord made of the same material as the PJs.

That is a laugh, not at OP, but at QF for offering something so miniscule for losing baggage.
Half or all of people's possessions can be lost forever, or "overnight", and that is all they offer, esp as its plane hold baggage.
Not so bad if financial compo is also offered.

We received exactly the same in Aug 2021 at AYQ.
They would only give us one pack as we were sharing a suitcase but I pushed and thankfully got another one. Our bag was lost for 5 1/2 days after first being sent to ASP and back to SYD where QF said they had no idea where it was! Thank goodness for AirTags as I went to the airport myself to retrieve it (suggested by Hobart call centre).

Wait, I thought the QF JimJams were de rigeur for "the office"

No, just the lounge.

At the point of providing the kit, the luggage is presumably only delayed.

Hmm, last year I had a bag go to OOL while I flew to MEL (ex-SYD) and got sweet FA. Possibly because they‘d already realised and it was racking up points on the direct OOL-MEL flight due in later that night…

Has changed from a few years ago when I received QF shorts and matching short sleeve t-shirt (in QF Business Class PJ light grey) with other toiletries for delayed luggage into QLD.

No compo in our case even after about a 60 hour delay - just reimbursement of a taxi fare to get it from the airport.
QF do have a policy of reimbursing for "reasonable expenses" once the baggage has been delayed for 24 hours.

You can't claim through the airport however. You need to pay out of pocket first then submit receipts through the Customer Care form on the website. It took a few weeks bit I did this last year and got reimbursed $250 for the clothing and toiletries I needed to purchase when I spent a weekend in CBR without baggage.

But yes, on top of getting reimbursed for what you spent you don't get anything else compo wise (my new clothes were my compo).
