Hello all,

As a fairly frequent flyer for mostly business and a bit of leisure, i have a strong interest in avaition and have lurked around a few flying based websites for a while and chanced on this site a few days ago and checked it out a bit. As this site is more Aussie based and offers a lot of interest to me and my activities i have taken the plunge and joined up. Hopefully i can become a valued member who can share my own experiences for the interest and/or benefit of others.

Most of my business travel is within Australia domestically on a fairly frequent basis, although my business activities also mean i travel a lot in Papua New Guinea specifically and generally one or two other overseas trips a year to conferences in Asia or like i did this year a two week trip to America to visit suppliers.

This year (2010) i had a total of 43 flights, but next year (2011) i anticipate a lot less as i will only be flying domestically, except for a trip to Hong Kong and Beijing in February. I plan to offload my PNG travelling to one of my workmates, although i may have to "escort" him on the first trip as PNG is let's say an "interesting" experience.
