[The New] What acronym for Platinum One

Continuing on from this thread:

So we have a new level and we need a new acronym for Platinum One so I started a poll. So far I have seen:

If a decision is made we could maybe update the title of this thread so people know what the acronym is (and update the abbreviations thread).

We are limited to 10 options.

The first 8 options are:​

1. PO - Platinum One or Pooh
2. SP - Smug Platinum
3. EW - Elitist/Elite Wanker
4. POO - Platinum One Obsessive
5. PONE - Platinum One
6. P1 - Platinum One
7. WP1 - Wanker Platinum One
8. POW - Platinum One Wanker
   
   Then there are:​
9. WSP, UWP, MWP, P1O or P1E (Please note option in response post)
10. Other

I feel like the acronym should be decided using the same method as the others were. Happy for the "senior" AFFers to figure it out and just tell us what to use.

UP = Uber Platinum

I guess its similar to UWP, but keeps it to two letters like the others, and I see no reasons that the lofty heights of Platinum One deserves three letters while the others only get two

Then a Platinum One member traveling in each of the different cabins could known as a YUP, PUP, JUP or FUP.

You've just delivered the coup de grace to your own suggestion - by inalienable precedent the acronym must be completely counter-intuitive. Anything intuitive is automatically excluded as it has been in every other AFF status acronym. Long live the AFF-witted traditions!

I like the way that the existing acronyms are gently mocking. And not immediately obvious. How about HP for Head Platinum? Given what WP stands for, there should be some logical progression.

Agreed; making it three letters doesn't make sense compared to the rest. IMO it should follow the other acronyms as <mocking term> <status level>.
