I'm off to the Austrian Alps soon, and am in the market for a Ski Helmet, in particular a helmet with integrated visor. I need some help with purchasing.
My reason for this is that I am frustrated with the experience with glasses and goggles, and can't wear contacts as I require a prism.
Examples of the style of helmets I am looking at are the OSBE Proton Senior (Osbe Proton SR Ski Helmets) and the Bolle Slide with Visor (Bollé Helmets Slide with visor Soft Black with grey flash lens + yellow lens XLARGE (62 cm) )
What I am struggling with is purchasing. I would like to try before I buy - I would like a good fit for my noggin, and nobody in Australia stocks them (not that I'll get a chance to go south to a city with a ski store before leaving).
Has anybody on this forum seen helmets like this in stores in Munich, Salzburg or Obertauern? So far, all I have found is Helm & More just north of the Munich Hauptbahnhof helm & more münchen - Browsing all products
Knowledge of stores and suggestions of other perhaps more German-friendly brands are welcome. And yes, I want to be a Daft Punk robot on the slopes - so no suggestions of special inserts for goggles please.
Danke schön in advance for your help!
