Well now thanks to a certain AFF member mentioning to Neil Perry that he was lamenting the loss of the famous NPPP, we have seen a return. I've quite enjoyed the last 2 weeks of them, and am curious how many varieties there are..

So far I have sampled:

Beef and Onion
Chicken and Leek

What are the ones other people have tried?

Why thank you ;)

Unfortunately I flew three sectors on QF last Thursday, 2 in the evening right on dinner time, and saw not a single sign of the infamous NPPP :(

I am going to send my suggestion to AJ re lounge food.
Well following on my Thai cooking school and at the behest of Tony hancock I am working on Thai Party Pies.
Thinking of a range with no spice, medium and hot spice. Will come in Beef,Pork and Chicken.Just working on what will go with the meat.
These will be known as Dr Ingenious Ron's Thai Pies or for short DIRT Pies.:p

Can you do thai pork belly pies? With crackling on the top?

I'm not pie guy, but I love the new smoked pork loin and crunchy ciabatta rolls at the BNE bus lounge

I've been hanging out for them but keep missing out. Is this an evening dinner time thing? I've been through SYD in the arvo (1500ish) and BNE throughout the day (8am, 1300ish and 1700ish) in the last week and haven't had any luck.

Do they have 'classic' NPPP?

They seem to appear a bit after 5pm. They were in definitely in the BNE J lounge last Sunday at 5:15pm.

So far have only had duck and beef and onion ones. They have replaced the inflight meal for me. Just have two pies in the lounge and skip the inflight meal and only have a drink on the plane.

Chicken and leak in the Mel J lounge tonight. Not my favourite. But still pretty good.

Beef and mushroom tonight in the SYD J lounge..

Ah, missed you again. :( I was on the 15:25 to ADL. Mad dash from Lidcombe in a taxi, who picked me up at 14:35.

I don't think I'll make it to a J Lounge until Xmas eve at this rate (probably 6:30pm) so they had better be there!

In the AKL lounge yesterday they had the Original NPPP.You know the ones you bite into and the mince just oozes out all over.Great with a decent dollop of tomato sauce. My eyes were misting at just the thought.:D

Had a few myself at AKL whilst awaiting my evening chariot to MEL. They brough somefrech one outs about an hhour before the LAN flight departed to SCL.

Washed down with a quite agreeable Lanson bubbly ... :D

Wasn't sure what was all the fuss was about the NPPP's. Just had one with duck in Mel J lounge. I now get it. Delicious. :D
