I went off the standard rougey vinos and concentrated on the most difficult grape of all in the Spring that still is but ending shortly twenny twenny two. Ended up with about 15 variants and I have to say, none of them were bad. I still recall the Debortoli Pinot at about twelve bucks and as you read this I suddenly become a mind reader. Your thoughts are whatdya expect for a tenner but that's not the point.  The Debortoli tasted like my mother in laws Cottees cordial. So in my recent indulgences I have really enjoyed some nice plonk and as I mentioned, none were bad.

Because in the wine game at least according to me, wine is binary. So the feminine pinot I had two weeks ago could actually be a bearded bear looking for a bit of warmth.

Is good.

Not bad.
