I have been looking at the Qantas website and came across “purchase top up points “.  Are these worthwhile.  I looked at purchasing 15,000 points at a cost of $532.  If my maths is right??? this equates to 0.035 per point.  Earlier threads have noted that in general a Qantas point is equal to 1 cent.  So purchasing below one cent seems to be a good deal.  What have I done wrong?
