It depends whether you're trying to get into Canberra or depart from Canberra. Fog creates issues for any aircraft trying to land into Canberra. That has the knock on effect for all following flights.
If the aircraft is sitting at Canberra overnight, there's a better chance it will leave on time - although icing can cause delays as there is only one de-icing truck.
If you absolutely need to be somewhere else in the morning when flying out of Canberra, either go out the night before, take the train, or there is always Murrays Bus (buy the extra seat)
