I can't see the benefit. The main perk seems to be $0 lounge access, which you can get through priority pass for a couple hundred dollars less.

If you actually need the other things like top status on your car hire company, that's something you'd need to weigh up for the additional $$.

Annual travel insurance you can get for $79 with an ANZ platinum card.

I think its for those who are not quite so into chasing the deal and maybe value their time more than us. Agree there are ways to get these individually but that takes time and time does have value for some.

re: the table...

the Amex cards have the same priority pass lounge access as regal card so why do the lounge numbers differ? if anything amex should be higher with their direct airline arrangements....

the insurance max coverage cannot just be aggregated like that as every card will differ won't it? - is it referring to medical, liability, inconvenience etc?

amex centurion initation fee is only 7,500 in the US not globally, its 0 in Australia for instance

I am sorry you feel that way.
How/Why would it POSSIBLY be spam?

Besides, you pay by credit card for it, so if anything is indeed spam you can simply dispute the charge.

Spam as in, you are only on this forum to plug this product. Not as in "card fraud".

If I'm wrong I apologise but to me it's suspicious that you haven't posted in any other thread but this one, and seem very keen to promote this card despite others pointing out several disadvantages.

This isn't correct in Australia. You get the complete package in AU (unlimited entries to all lounges, with a guest at no fee) and access to Amex lounges too. So there should be more lounges than with the Regal card in the table. And Virgin lounges too...

Also you do get a bunch of hotel upgrades so that really should have a tick.

There is no limit to medical expense in the AU pds for the Amex plat charge. I could be wrong on this, so if you. Can kindly point it out to me I'll have another look.

I'd say the table goes past "inaccurate" and into "fraudulent" though, and that's on a quick analysis.
